Children’s Ministry

Sunday School is available each Sunday for children and youth.  It offers young people an opportunity to learn the stories of the Christian faith in an interactive and age-appropriate way.  It is a time for kids to ask questions and interact with one another.

At Richview, children and young people share worship with their families in the sanctuary for the first 10 to 15 minutes of service before heading to the church hall to continue their worship together in one multi-age classroom.  Our team of leaders implement the Workshop Rotation Model where one biblical story or theme is investigated over several weeks through different workshop experiences involving music, crafts, drama, and cooking.  Worship and learning at Richview is very experiential!

Children are encouraged to think about outreach (helping others in the world.)  Currently the young people are active in sponsoring a foster child and the youth group is gearing up to participate in the 30 Hour Famine.

Young people are involved in many ways here at Richview. They can frequently be seen participating in worship through readings, skits and pageants, singing, and dancing as the Spirit moves!

The aim of Sunday School is to provide children with friendships, a sense of belonging while building the foundation for a life-long spiritual journey.
