Outreach
UCW (United Church Women)
Are you a woman who would like to learn with other women about what it means to be a follower of Chirst? Make a difference in our community (local and worldwide) while connecting with others.
Pastoral Care
Are you a member of the church who is interested in serving members of the church community through prayer, visiting, phoning and card writing?
Vision in Action (ViA)
Are you wanting to be a part of a group that goes? Take part in initiatives that open our doors to the community and imagine a variety of expressions of church. Dream big and make it happen!
Youth and Children
Sunday School
Are you a kid who is interested in being with other kids to learn about God? Do you like to make crafts, do cooking crafts, play games and sing songs?
Or are you an adult (with an up-to-date police records check) interested in helping out occasionally or regularly with Sunday School?
Youth Group
If you are a young person (age 11 and up) who wants to be with others your age in a fun environment that connects faith with things you deal with everyday, consider joining the R.U. Church Youth Group.

Reading scripture, leading children’s time, ushering, offering musical gifts, assisting with communion: there are many ways to get involved!
Choir
Do you love to sing? Would you like to meet others who share that interest and join them in song each Sunday?
Learning
Morning Meditation (Morning Meds)
Do you like to start the day early … 7:00 a.m early? Join with others in friendship to focus on scripture and prayer, then share breakfast together!
Bible Study at Lunch!
Would you like to know more about the Bible? Would you find it helpful to know that you are not alone in thinking that some Bible passages are confusing or challenging to understand? Do you ever wonder about the relevence of the Bible stories to our lives today?
Small Group Study
At various times in the year there are opportunities to join a small group for a 5 to 6 week study of a particular topic, book, or theme.
Book and Movie Group
Do you like to read and get together with a group of individuals for lively discussion about a particular book? Are you a movie buff who enjoys seeing a variety of film genres?
Committees
One thing that there is no shortage of in the United Church are committees! And it is a good thing too, because these groups are vital to the work and life of the church. Whether it is looking after property, finances, worship, stewardship or the overall activity of the church there is always room for willing individuals to offer their time and talents.
