John Kim— Minister
Rev. John Kim will be with us here at Richvew United Church until June 2016 (at least). Rev. Kim brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the church to his ministry here with us. John was ordained in Toronto Conference in 1997 and since then has served at Keswick-Ravenshoe Pastoral charge, Willowdale United Church and most recently at Capilano United Church in Vancouver. John has also served in Ethnic Ministries and Pastoral Relations at General Council as well as served as a member of the General Council Executive. His experience includes work in social justice as a member of the Board of Directors for Hospice Georgina and Program Coordinator for Out of the Cold here in Toronto. Rev. Kim has served many years as visiting clergy and as an on-call chaplain in a number of hospitals. We hope to include John in our music ministry here as he is knowledgeable in this art and play a number of instruments.

Joel Tangjerd – Organist/Pianist
Joel has just begun his DMA (Doctor of Musical Art) and is currently studying baroque cello with Christine Mahler. Joel is from London, Ontario and recently served as the organist in an Anglican church there before coming to Toronto to study. We welcome Joel as a member of our music ministry here at Richview United Church.
Mary-Jane Jarvis-Haig — Assistant Organist
Mary-Jane has been an active part of life at Richview United Church for over 30 years. She is involved in the Sunday School, the Youth Group and is part of the Music team.
